Middle School Club
Club Reston
Club Reston is a twice a month club for 7th and 8th grade boys that gives them the opportunity to develop study habits, grow in friendship with peers, and receive personal mentoring. The Club is run by Eric Heil and Pete Bancroft.
Schedule
3:15 Van departs from The Heights School
3:45 Study in the Reston Study Center classroom; mentoring also provided
4:50 Virtue talk
5:00 Snack
5:15 Sports or games
6:15 Finish; parents pick up from Reston
Cost
The cost for the year is $350 (payable upon acceptance to program).
Study hall
Each activity begins with a required 60 minute silent study hall, which is monitored by a Club Reston staff member.
Location
Club meetings are held at Reston Study Center, 1810 Old Reston Ave, Reston VA 20190.
Transportation
Students may receive a ride from the Heights School with Mr. Bancroft and Mr. Heil, leaving at 3:15 pm. Parents provide the rides home for their sons; carpools can be arranged for this purpose.
The Center is a few blocks away from the Reston Town Center Metro station on the silver line.
